We are all called to seek God, to know him and love him with all our strength.

This desire for God is written in the human heart.

Only in God will we find the truth and happiness we are looking for.

St Austin's Priory and St Monica's Church are churches in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth, serving the parish of Ivybridge and Modbury.

You are very welcome to visit us, whether you are a Catholic or just an enquirer.

Join a community of faith that prays for each other, and the whole world - and sees the presence of God in everyone.

Father Guy de Gaynesford

Parochial Administrator:

Father Louis Rieunier

We believe that God entered his own creation in the person of Jesus Christ, so that we might be drawn to share in his divine life, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Catholic Church teaches that Christ continues to be present in the world through his Church. By prayer and active involvement in the life of the Church we will be  brought into communion with God.

When we celebrate the Mass  God is really present. He loves you, and wants you to know and love him.

Please check the newsletter on the link above to check Mass times, as times and dates can change.
